The Art of Being Seen

A Legacy in Fashion. A Heart for Connection in Photography

Three Decades of Evolution. With over 33 years of experience rooted in the high-stakes world of fashion and apparel, my work is a study in precision and soul. I began my career mastering the lines of a garment and alongside the technical dance of studio lighting, but I soon realised that my true passion lay in the energy of the person wearing it.

I used to say I am a fashion photographer, then a reportage-candid style pre wedding or wedding photographer, then a family photographer, a portrait photographer, event photographer – product photographer and brand photographer. I click women, and babies, and families, plus men, and events, and yes, Heck, I capture pretty much everything, except cars. And I shoot cars too ha ha.

When I take pictures out in nature/Landscape, I love capturing the sheer immensity of it and bringing it to the rest of the world. When I photograph people I concentrate on capturing their emotions and personality.

Editorial Weddings & Candid Truths. I blend the polished aesthetic of editorial fashion photography with the honest, unscripted storytelling of a wedding day. I’ve transitioned from the runway to the wedding aisle because I believe that the greatest luxury is not a brand or a location—it is time. My duty is to freeze those fleeting moments of power, joy, and wisdom so they can be felt for generations.

The Empath Behind the Lens. I am a bold and private man, an empath who sees beyond the surface. My process is a collaboration. I use my heart to see what the eye often misses. Whether I am orchestrating a complex studio setup or capturing a quiet, private moment between a couple, I aim for the highest compliment a subject can receive: “Someone really captured you perfectly.”

More Than a Photograph. I want you to feel seen—not just by me, but by anyone who encounters your image or Video. My goal is to capture your energy, your strength, and your unique beauty, whether that is set against the immensity of a landscape or the intimacy of a wedding or portrait.

From my eyes to yours,

Sanjay Mehta
